As the AI boom continues, marketers are using the rapidly advancing tech to automate repetitive tasks, analyze data, and even expedite campaigns. But with the overwhelming number of AI tools out there now, it can be difficult to know which ones fit small and medium-size businesses and their needs.
Inc. spoke to marketing experts, CMOS, and founders including Jen Harrington, founder and CEO of Boston marketing and creative branding agency HATCH, to find the best AI marketing tools suitable for startups and small businesses looking to ramp up their flywheel.
The expert panel picked Apollo as the best tool for scaling revenue. Apollo is a B2B sales intelligence and engagement platform that combines a database of more than 230 million verified professionals and business contacts with automated outbound communication tools. It provides data and the outreach engine needed to find customers quickly.
Jen was among the experts to recommend Apollo. HATCH uses it to identify organizations that have had a trigger event—something that leads to a sales opportunity—such as a new CMO appointment, new funding, an acquisition of a company, or new product launch.
“All of these things help us to know not just who the people are, but whether the organization might be at a good moment to be rethinking their agency partners,” Jen says. “Apollo has a plug-in for other apps like LinkedIn, which allows us to quickly go from creating a list—by industry, location, etc.—alongside triggers and then do personal research to see if we have any connections and to see their entire history. It also provides an overview of the company and recent marketing or other activity.”
