HOW DO YOU HELP END HUNGER?
GO WHERE THE HUNGRY PEOPLE ARE.

For nearly 50 years, The Greater Boston Food Bank has been doing their best to help end hunger. Unfortunately, the past two plus years of the pandemic, and now inflation, has only made things more challenging. To help raise funds for September’s Hunger Awareness Month we created The Helping menu. Restaurants simply add menu items that are actually donations that go directly to the food bank.

Items like Chilled Charity, Braised Giving, and Sweetened Kindness hide within the menu to hit hungry patrons in the belly, and heart while they dine out. Then all they have to do is add any of the menu “items” to their bill, and the donation is made.

Social posts were designed for restaurants and the food bank to use to help promote and amplify the program. Feel like eating and donating? Visit one of our amazing restaurant partners – Myers+Chang, Trillium (Fort Point or Canton), The Banks Fish House, and Harvest. And if you know of or are part of a restaurant that would like to participate, contact us for more info.
